Phew! The printer / card reader issue is resolved and I may post pictures once again - Ya! Forgive the timeline of some of these as I have a lot of catching up to do.... Let's start with a few weeks ago when my cousin, Shannon, and her son Spencer, and daughter Morgan were in town from Kansas for a much over due visit. We hadn't seen Spencer since Christmas 2006 and Shannon and Morgan since our wedding in August. Shannon and I were pregnant with the boys at the same time literally; Spencer was born 5 days before Mason! It's so much fun having boy cousins so close in age. We just both wish we didn't live so far away from one another. It was great to catch up and watch the boys interact. Even though they are close in age, they have always been polar opposites. Spencer is and always has been a total chatter box! He's uber active and right in the middle of everything, where Mason is more quiet and stands back to observe the situation first. Spencer was cracking us up. The things that would come out of that kids mouth was seriously hilarious. He was put into time out once for not sharing. When his grandma asked if he was ready to come out and share, he said, "No" When asked if he wanted to go back into time out, he replied, "Yes, I don't have to share in there!" Smart kid! Eventually, he did come out and was a very good sharer from then on. :o)
Mason also surprised us with some quick whit of his own; there was one ball they both wanted to play with (obviously) however they both also wanted to sit next to John on the treadmill (it was unplugged so they couldn't turn it on, only walk around it). Mason quickly figured out all he had to do to get Spencer off the seat next to daddy, was to throw the much sought after ball across the room and Spencer would take off running to go get it. Walla! The much sought after seat was free! Rinse, lather, repeat! Yup - our son was actually playing fetch with his cousin!!!!!! HA HA! Anyways, here are some pics of the boys enjoying a popsicle and Mason cheesing it up for the camera, of course!
