The Kieneker's: Time in Spokane

We just got back from spending just over a week in Spokane with my mom and dad - WOW was that not only much needed, but so nice and fun! I haven't been able to spend that much time with them since before Mason was born! My mom and dad of course LOVED having their two grandchildren right at hand, and me too. John drove back this past Friday, we spent Saturday at the lake on "Grandpa Pat's Big Boat" as Mason says, and all drove home Sunday. Mason LOVED the boat, playing anything with Grandma Buda (Berta), showing all his cars and trucks to Great Grandma Betty. and play in Grandpa Pat's BIG RED TRUCK! We went over to Auntie Annie's house on Friday for a wonderful BBQ, some beers, and got to hang out some for the first time with her boyfriend Aaron and his daughter, Alexis. Aaron is a very nice guy and seems to treat my sister right - as he better! Ha ha! Watch out Aaron because Mason already refers to you as "Uncle Aaron"!!!!!!!!!

Here are some pics - both kids are changing so fast it's crazy. Peyton had her two month appointment yesterday. We have a big girl - she was in the 90% for both weight and height; 12lbs 6oz, and 23 1/2 inches long! Mason was 12lbs 11oz and 24 1/2 inches long at 2 months, but his percentiles weren't as high since boys are supposed to be a little bigger :o) The doctor said she's certainly a very healthy girl. I was a little concerned because she's been spitting up so much lately. Doc said as long as she's gaining weight, we simply have a messy baby. Obviously gaining weight is not an issue for baby girl, so we're A.O.K.
