Well it poured the entire weekend my family was in town, so we had to do the pumpkin patch last weekend instead. It was SUPER muddy but we braved the mess and finally got our pumpkins! We haven't been able to carve them yet, but that's first on the agenda tonight once daddy's done working.
Peyton had her appointment with the orthopedic specialist and everything went very well. The doc liked what she was seeing with her hands and use of her hands currently, so there is definitely no need for a surgical fix and she doesn't even want her in braces right now, but suggested we keep investing in sensory stimulating toys. She did look her entire body over and had a lot of nice, positive things to report in regards to her muscle tone, which was SO nice to hear! We did however get recommended to the Neuro Development team at Children's since miss Peyton is still not walking or talking as a precautionary next step. Given her blood work and genetic testing all coming back clear, they are pretty positive she'll get caught up eventually, but want to have a more elaborate evaluation done at Children's than she even had with her Neurologist. That appointment won't be until early January, which was their soonest opening. She will also be seeing the optical clinic at Children's on November 10th to have her left eye re-evaluated. The last optometrist didn't seem to think she had a lazy eye at all, but I'm definitely still seeing something and the orthopedic specialist agreed with me.
Otherwise, all has been well. We're ramping up for Halloween, Mason's 4th birthday, Tristen's birthday, and Mason's birthday party all with in the next 7 days - can't wait!!!!!
