Our trip to Great Wolf Lodge was SO FUN!!! I would highly recommend it for adults and kids the same. Although it was a little pricey, everyone had a blast and decided to make it a yearly tradition. There's a little something for everyone - an awesome baby / kiddy area that starts with literally an inch of water, has little things that squirt everywhere, tiny slides, and structures to climb on both in and out of the water. There's a medium sized slide area with a 1000 gallon buck of water sitting at the very top. It's continiously being filled and once full, it dumps all down the structure with a ginormous splash! There's a decent sized wave pool that is pretty neat, and best of all, three huge water slides including a four man raft one that is a BLAST!!!! It has a pretty big drop and it's almost like being flushed down a toilet! We all were just screaming and it wasn't until the third time down that I was able to keep my eyes open for the whole thing! Us big kids all agreed we could go for an adult only trip; ride the slides all day then grab dinner and beer in the evening - sounds perfect! :o) It was super fun with the kids though too. Mason was a little hesitant at first to say the least, but once he had his life jacket on and warmed up a bit, he had a good time and it was soooo fun to watch him. Tristen of course LOVED it, but he's 10 and is the perfect age for a place like that.
I took more pictures but since it's all in doors, with lots of skylights, the lighting was a little weird and most turned out too dark to really see anything; just enough light to keep the flash from coming on but not enough to get lots of great pictures - bummer!
